Neymar is reportedly pushing for Real Madrid to sell Cristiano Ronaldo if he is to join them from PSG at any point in the near future. The Brazil international has emerged as an ambitious target for the Spanish giants, but Don Balon claim his own desire to seal a move to the Bernabeu has cooled.
Mostly, it seems, Neymar is concerned by the prospect of having to play in Ronaldo’s shadow at Real Madrid, having left Barcelona due to being sick of playing second fiddle to Lionel Messi.
Don Balon claim this is Neymar’s big demand to Los Blancos, and puts the move in some doubt as Ronaldo surely remains too important a figure to axe at this point.
The Portuguese superstar has arguably shown the first real signs of decline this season after a lack of goals in La Liga, scoring just two in nine appearances in the Spanish top flight so far.
