Some of the greatest players in Steelers' history will be immortalized Sunday at Heinz Field.

Chuck Noll, Art and Dan Rooney and some of the greatest players in Steelers' history will be inducted into the team's Hall of Honor at halftime of Sunday night's game against the Packers. 

In all, 27 members of the organization were selected to the Hall of Honor's inaugural class. The Steelers announced earlier this year that they will induct 2-4 new players every year.

Post 1970s Steelers: Rod Woodson, Dermontti Dawson, Kevin Greene, Jerome Bettis 

The Steelers held an induction ceremony for their inaugural Hall of Honor class on Saturday night.


“The Hall of Honor will serve as a tribute to the many individuals who have contributed greatly throughout the history of our franchise,” Steelers President Art Rooney II said following the announcement of the team's inaugural Hall of Honor class. “This is probably long overdue, and we are excited to begin the process of recognizing these individuals and their accomplishments, both on and off the field, during an annual series of ceremonies.”
